The Burlington Northern Railroad will be replacing road crossing materials on Boulder County roads along the Diagonal Highway (State Highway 119) between Boulder and Longmont. Each road will be closed for a minimum of two days.
Second Avenue in Niwot will be closed for four days as the County repaves the east and west road approaches.
Niwot Road – closed at the Diagonal Highway, Tuesday May 8 and Wednesday May 9.
Jay Road - closed at the Diagonal Highway, Thursday May 10 and Friday May 11.
2nd Ave (Main Street Niwot) - closed at the Diagonal Highway, Tuesday May 15 through Friday May 18.
Monarch Road - closed at the Diagonal Highway, Thursday May 17 through Friday May 18.
All closures are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
