Phones in the St. Vrain Valley School District are out of service today, according to district spokesman John Poynton.
School is back in session in most of the St. Vrain Valley School District today, Thursday September 19th following the floods, but the phones are out of service at this time.

9/17/2013 – Boil Water Advisory has been Rescinded for MOST areas
As of 5:45pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has rescinded the Boil Water Advisory for MOST areas of the District. PLEASE BE ADVISED, THE FOLLOWING AREAS REMAIN UNDER THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY AND WILL NEED TO CONTINUE TO BOIL WATER AT THEIR LOCATIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: Areas along Foothills Highway from Neva Road north, Nelson Road from Foothills Highway to Tollgate, 39th and 41st Streets from Plateau Road to Nimbus Road, Oxford Road from 41st Street to Ogallala. This includes the subdivisions of Foothills Ranch, Hardt Estates, L’heureux Country Estates, Mountain Ridge, Sage Valley, Crestview Estates, and McNair Meadows. The temporary lines in these areas will be being flushed and tested over the next 24-48 hours and we will notify customers in those areas once the advisory is lifted for them. CUSTOMERS IN AREAS NOT LISTED ABOVE MAY RESUME NORMAL WATER USAGE.
