Niwot Boys Win State
Volleyball Title
The Niwot boys volleyball
team came from behind to defeat Monarch 12-15, 15-6, 15-7 to capture th e
2000 Colorado High School Boys Volleyball Association state championship
May 13 at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs. After finishing
the regular season with a 15-2 record, the team placed second in
its regional May 6 to secure the fifth seed in the eight-team final field.

The Long Range Facilities
Planning Committee of the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) met
in April and May to review possible enrollment boundaries for new Middle/High
School #4. Under the direction of Scott Toillion, SVVSD planner and
Chairman Mark Sullivan, the committee meets to review scenarios developed

Over 100 Sombrero
Ranch horses were herded east on Niwot Road from Spring Hill to outside
the Rocky Mountain Christian Church. Traffic waited patiently while wranglers
led the horses to new pastures
