Hugh M. Woods Going
Out Of Business
After more than 20 years
in business on the corner of Lookout Road and 63rd Street in Gunbarrel,
Hugh M. Woods is going out of business. The hardware store is one of several
companies owned by parent company Payless Cashways Inc., which declared
bankruptcy on Aug. 28.

Other stores owned by Payless
Cashways include Furrows and Lumberjacks. There are 18 Hugh M. Woods stores
in Colorado.
One employee, who wished
to remain anonymous, said that it should take between six to eight weeks
to close out the store. As far as future plans for the site, Home Depot,
Lowes and 84 Lumber have expressed interest. |
