The Niwot team won regionals, then capped off the season by winning state, both by considerable margins.     Niwot gymnasts competed with seven teams at their annual league competition on Oct. 23, and walked away with top-two finishes from both their varsity and JV teams. The event was the JV athletes' final meet of the season, and marked a meaningful milestone for the entire group.     Six weeks into the 2024 competition season, Cougar gymnasts are reflecting on their growth in collaboration and are looking ahead with optimism as they continue to improve.     The Shine Prom is an annual event like no other. Hosted by the Rocky Mountain Christian Church (RMCC) on Sept. 20, the fourth annual prom offered warmth and connection to residents throughout the Niwot area while celebrating individuals with special needs.     Niwot High School gymnasts took on the Poudre School District (PSD) on Sept. 4 and walked away with a win in the all-around competition by 11.75 points. The event, the Cougars' first meet of the season, was held at Niwot High School in the small gym. Competing from 5:30 p.m. until nearly 8 p.m., Cougar athletes rotated through four events.
