Dylan Hollingsworth, former Niwot High School football coach, was given a one-year deferred sentence March 23, 2017, on misdemeanor charges in a plea bargain approved by the Boulder County Court. Hollingsworth was accused of choking a 17-year-old student and kneeing him in the groin on Oct. 27, 2016, during a PE class, resulting in charges of second- and third-degree assault.
