Ava Thompson, 16, daughter of Kris and Amy Thompson of Heatherwood died November 28, 2022. Ava was a sophomore at Boulder High School where she was a member of the mountain bike team and played lacrosse. She worked at the Gunbarrel King Soopers. Niwot High School boys basketball wrapped up the season with games on the road against the Fort Morgan Mustangs and at home against the Northridge Grizzlies Feb. 14 and Feb. 16, respectively. The Monarch Improvement Project at Hangge Fields at Monarch Park is starting to take shape.
