Boulder County Assessor Cynthia Braddock sent out notices to many residents in the county on May 15 advising that the assessment notice mailed on May 1was incorrect. Braddock’s letter stated, “We discovered a data input error in the time trend used to establish the value of your property. We have since corrected the error.” The error correction resulted in a reduction of value for most properties. In one case in Niwot, the valuation went from $633,000 down to $560,700.
