The Niwot Cougars suffered their fourth shutout of the year last Thursday, losing 63-0 to the fourth-ranked Loveland Indians at Ray Patterson Field. The Niwot gymnastics team closed out the regular season dual schedule against the Class 5A Broomfield Eagles on Oct. 11. Despite winning four of the top six all-around spots, the Cougars fell to the Eagles by a score of 180.775 to 175.9. Charlotte Wertz Garcia of Boulder passed away Tuesday October 10, 2017 in Boulder. She was born October 22, 1941 to Alfred P. and Della Parker Wertz in Easton, PA.
