Rumors that a student had brought a gun to Niwot High School this morning caused a lockdown and lockout. The district has since reported that ALL students are SAFE in their classrooms and that the building has been secured. Boulder County Sheriff's Cmdr. Two important education items on the Nov. 8 ballot were the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) bond issue for capital improvements and the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) mill levy override for operational expenses.
