The community’s “Small Town Big Heart” fundraising campaign is well underway, and administered by the Community Foundation Boulder County and the statewide organization, Colorado Gives. The COVID-19 testing service at the Boulder County Fairgrounds is in the process of closing. The site ended its vaccine clinic on March 20, and the last day of testing operations are scheduled to be March 31. On March 26, a wildfire erupted in southwest Boulder, near the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Earlier this month, a piece of Boulder County earth moving equipment fell into Little Gaynor Lake, south of Oxford Road between 95th Street and Highway 287.
