All Local, All The Time
On Tuesday, June 28, the Republican and Democratic parties will hold their primary elections in Boulder County. In order for people to vote in a party primary election, they must be registered with that party.
The last day for affiliated voters to change or withdraw their affiliation was May 31. Unaffiliated voters may choose a party up to and including election day. To receive a mail ballot in a timely fashion though, the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s office encourages people to affiliate sooner rather than later.
Those who don’t affiliate until Monday, June 20 will have to request an in-person ballot at a Voter Service and Polling Center. Location for centers can be found at BoulderCountyVotes.org.
Those who have moved or who haven’t voted recently are encouraged to check their voter registration status periodically to keep it updated.
Voter registration can be verified online at BoulderCountyVotes.org. Voters can also visit the website to register to vote, view ballot content and learn more about local elections. For more information call 303-413-7740 or visit one of three Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s office branches: 1750 33rd St. in Boulder, 529 Coffman St. in Longmont; or 1376 Miners Drive in Lafayette.
