All Local, All The Time
Boulder Community Health (BCH) is expanding access to health care in Gunbarrel with the opening of a new Boulder Community Health Urgent Care clinic at the existing BCH medical offices, which have served the local community for years.
Located at 6685 Gunpark Drive East, Suite 102, the BCH Urgent Care is open to treat patients seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., 365 days a year. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis, with no appointment required.
The BCH Urgent Care provides a convenient option for medical conditions that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician, but do not require emergency department care. Care includes common non life-threatening illnesses and injuries such as minor cuts, earaches, skin rashes, allergic reactions, sprains, colds and fevers. The Urgent Care office is staffed by certified nurse practitioners and has basic imaging and laboratory services available on site.
The opening of the Urgent Care in Gunbarrel is part of BCH’s plan to expand local access to high quality, comprehensive health care throughout Boulder County, according to BCH.
“The BCH Urgent Care in Gunbarrel expands access when your regular care provider isn’t available,” BCH CEO Dr. Robert Vissers said. “And it provides the right level of care when your need is urgent but not an emergency. We recognize that people in our diverse community have different needs and our goal is to increase access to distinctive options. Our goal is to meet patients where they need us by providing the right care at the right place at the right time.”
