New geriatric practice opens at The Residences of Balfour

The Residences at Balfour, a retirement community in Louisville, announced the opening of an office of Wisdom Health, a new geriatric primary care medical practice located within the community at 1336 E. Hecla Drive. The practice is owned and operated by Dr. Anne Giesen, D.O., and is currently accepting patients from Balfour and the greater Boulder County community.

“It’s a pleasure to expand our medical practice in Boulder to include Balfour, and provide outstanding geriatric care to the residents who live here, as well as adults who are 65 years and older and live in Boulder County,” Dr. Giesen, who has been practicing geriatric medicine for more than 15 years, said. “This is an outstanding location, with easy access for both the people who live at Balfour, and those who are scheduling appointments from the [Boulder County] area. I’m looking forward to welcoming new and existing patients.”

Wisdom Health has its primary office at Frasier Meadows Retirement Community in Boulder.

With the addition of Wisdom Health to The Residences at Balfour, the community is able to provide residents with care from an experienced geriatrician. Balfour provides a continuum of care to its residents that includes independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.
