All Local, All The Time

Boulder Country Day holds high school fair

Boulder Country Day School will host a high school fair for all Boulder County middle school students on Wednesday, October 5. This is the third year that Boulder Country Day has held this event, and this year the attending school list surpasses 70 schools, including local, regional and boarding schools.

“This is a golden opportunity for middle school students to consider all of the options available to them at one single event,” Susan Boyle, director of admission and marketing for Boulder Country Day School, said. “We are really excited about the response we have received from attending schools and hope to see as many Boulder area families as possible take advantage of the event.”

Boulder parents Jacquie and Andrew McKenna found the fair to be very helpful in the search for the right high school for their child. “We were very impressed with the number of high schools represented at the fair (public, private, local, boarding schools from around the county),” Jacquie McKenna said. “We hadn’t known the extent of the options available for our 8th grader. It was extremely helpful to talk with the representatives of the different schools to learn what was best for our student and for her to explore various options.”

The Boulder Country Day School high school fair is free and open to all Boulder County middle school students, and will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at BCD.
