Dear Editor,

I found the Courier online poll chart in last week’s paper to be very misleading. Close to 1,700 people from Gunbarrel and the surrounding areas have signed the Twin Lakes Action Group (TLAG) petition opposing upzoning to medium density on the Twin Lakes parcels.

Therefore, I was surprised to find that 72.7 percent of those who filled out the online LHVC poll were for this development, until I found out that only 32 people filled out the online poll. This omission of the very small sample size gives the impression that the majority of Niwot and Gunbarrel residents are for upzoning and increased density at Twin Lakes!

If you are going to publish poll results, please include the sample size.
