Update - Mila’s Miracle Foundation

Earlier we had reported Mila’s three-year-old brother, Azlan, might also have the gene combination that results in Batten Disease. We are pleased to report tests concluded Azlan does not have Batten Disease. However, it is true that siblings of children with Batten have a 25 percent chance of also having the disease.

Additionally, we’ve learned that the Boulder law firm, Conscious Family Law (ConsciousFamilyFirm.com) is donating five percent of their August profits to Mila’s Miracle Foundation (StopBatten.org).
