Alzheimer’s support group

An Alzheimer’s support group will meet on the first Wednesday of every month. This class is free and open to the public, no registration required.

The events are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Niwot United Methodist Church, 7405 Lookout Road, Gunbarrel.

NHS band final concert

The music department at Niwot High School will be hosting the final concert of the school year beginning at 6:15 p.m. on May 17. This evening will celebrate the accomplishments of music students and graduating seniors.

There will be a silent auction and light refreshments available for purchase. Proceeds will help fund the purchase of new instruments. The Music Department's goal is to raise enough money to buy a new Bass Clarinet (about $5000).

NLCN PICNIC

Neighborhood Learning Center of Niwot is hosting a farewell picnic to celebrate 40 years of being part of the community.

The event will be held at Niwot’s Whistlestop Park from noon to 3 p.m., Sunday, May 20. Former students and families of NLCN, Niwot business owners, and anyone who would like to attend are invited. Please bring a potluck dish to share.

Open House

Boulder Rural Fire Rescue will be hosting an open house with fire engines, hoses, a bouncy castle, face painting and many demonstrations throughout the event that is free and open to the public.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 at Station 1, 6230 Lookout Road.
