Niwot Community Association holds clean up day

Niwot Community Association member Dick Piland cleans up the parking lot at Niwot High School at the close of the May 12 Niwot Clean Up Day. The group collected four dumpsters of slash and eight dumpsters of trash; one dumpster of scrap metal for recycling; 49 mattresses and box springs, four pallets of latex paint and four containers of Styrofoam, all for recycling; and 3,000 pounds of electronics and TVs for recycling.
