All Local, All The Time
Niwot Dental, owned by Dr. Adam Saeks for over 13 years, is sponsoring a food drive to benefit OUR Center in Longmont. The public is encouraged to drop off non-perishable items at the Niwot Dental offices through Dec. 15.
Donated food will be delivered to OUR Center, a non-profit, for distribution to clients. OUR Center serves to help the working poor, seniors, disabled, and homeless members of the community by providing those individuals or families with food, resources, and services to make ends meet.
Kim Schwartz, office coordinator at Niwot Dental said, “We wanted to give back to the community. The reason we chose OUR Center is because, from what I’ve read, it has the most impact in the surrounding areas.” This is their first year offering the food drive.
Items listed as most needed by OUR Center are: canned fruits and vegetables, soups, sauces, granola bars and healthy snacks, hot and cold cereals, grains, rice, beans, infant formula, pasta, peanut butter, and canned meat.
Niwot Dental is located in Cottonwood Square, 6800 79th Street, Suite 203. The office is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For additional information, call 303-652-3444.
