The Cougars are headed back to the semifinals after a hard-fought, four-set victory over Holy Family (25-22, 28-26, 20-25, 27-25) on day two of the Class 4A state volleyball championships at the Denver Coliseum. Unfortunately, that win may have come at a high price. During the final play of the match, senior Audrey Richard suffered what looked to be a serious injury in a collision with a Holy Family player, and is questionable for Saturday’s match against the winner of No. 4 Longmont vs. No. 2 Discovery Canyon.
