“People’s Choice” winner announced

Ocean Embrace by Longmont artist Glenn Murgacz received the Community Corner at Sculpture Park People’s Choice award for 2018. The stainless steel sculpture received nearly 30 percent of the first-place votes, followed by Desert Visions by Miles Howell, and Aviator by Bobbie Carlyle in third. Murgacz received a $250 stipend for the award. Ocean Embrace is one of nine pieces in Niwot’s new public art installation, and will remain in the Sculpture Park until at least mid-2019.

Miles Howell's Desert Vision took second in the voting for the People's Choice Award for 2018.
