All Local, All The Time

Spring into music with Unity Longmont Spiritual Center

Unity Longmont Spiritual Center (ULSC), an inclusive spiritual community which meets at The Meditation Place in Longmont, will be offering a spring concert featuring local musicians Clint Brown, David Coile, Tim Ostdiek, Shanna in a Dress, Teresa Storch, and Christina Hildebrandt, CMT. The concert will be a mix of funky folk, blues, rock and soul and is open to the community.

Dava Money, spiritual leader of Unity Longmont Spiritual Center, says that the center is part of the world-wide movement known as New Thought that provides a “path of practical spirituality that empowers meaningful living through celebrating spiritual community and facilitating spiritual evolution.”

Tim Ostdiek, a regular musical contributor to the center, says the concert will be “uplifting and authentic. Every time I perform at Unity it feels special. It is such an inclusive space that it's easier to share those vulnerable moments, or songs in my case. I always see deep connections happening at Unity and I always leave feeling more rooted in myself and my community.”

The concert will be held on Friday, April 26 from 7-9 p.m., with refreshments served afterwards, at The Meditation Place, 324 Main Street (alley entrance), Longmont, CO 80501. Cost: $10 suggestion donation. For more information, contact [email protected] or 720-438-8777.

In addition to the concert, Unity Longmont Spiritual Center holds regular Sunday Services at The Meditation Place at 11 a.m., as well as Friday morning study, prayer, and healing groups at 11:15 a.m.
