Dr. Banjo's stringed discourse delights

Hot Rize band member Pete Wernick (aka Dr. Banjo) entertained and educated a full-house audience at the Left Hand Grange hall Wednesday night Oct. 23, during his lecture on the history of the banjo. Wernick, who calls Niwot home, shared the chronological path banjos have taken as well as his own musical journey as part of this season's Niwot Historical Society's lecture series.
