The holiday tree cast a purplish glow on attendees at this year's Enchanted Evening celebration, held annually in Niwot on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
The Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band played for the holiday crowd on Enchanted Evening. Behind the band is the town's community tree which was lit up that night to welcome the holiday season.

The conditions were decidedly seasonal at Niwot's annual Enchanted Evening celebration, held Nov. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. Hearty locals braved frigid temperatures and snowy sidewalks to enjoy musical performances, the holiday tree lighting, shopping deals, and a visit from the big man himself.
