Niwot graduate Matthew Kachensky receives scholarship

Matthew Kachensky, a 2020 graduate of Niwot High School, is the recipient of this year's Molecular Biosciences, Inc., presidential scholarship award. The scholarship covers full tuition and expenses for four years at a major university, and is renewable for any graduate work. The award also includes a cell phone, ipad, laptop computer, credit card, travel allowance, a new car, and a cash prize. Molecular Biosciences is a Boulder-based biotechnology company with worldwide presence and distribution centers. This year, the company's nomination criteria were: a recent graduate with excellent academic credentials, living in Niwot, with an interest in the sciences.
