Community Pet Spotlight (Dec. 2, Poe)

Meet Poe. This sweet and social 12-year-old fellow is looking for a special someone to call his own. Poe is very chatty and affectionate and loves to be involved with what is going on around him. This senior kitty is not shy about asking for cuddles and sincerely enjoys the company of people! Poe is diabetic and so is looking for a new partner who will be able to help him take his insulin every day. A note to all of our Pet of the Week partners!

I wanted to let you all know that lately we have been seeing great results for the pets that are being promoted through this piece each week. As an example, over the past four weeks, Kyle, Ceecee, Minni and Barley have all found forever homes and in most cases, it wasn't long after being featured by all of you in your respective publications that they were adopted. These are not always animals that are having an easy time finding homes, and in each of these specific cases the animals were waiting longer due to various barriers (age, discomfort in the shelter environment, etc.).
