Niwot places fourth overall at state cheer championships

Congratulations to the Niwot Cheerleading squad for its fourth-place finish at the Class 4A state spirit championships, held at World Arena in Colorado Springs on March 25-26.

The Cougars qualified for the finals after taking third in the preliminary round, with a score of 67.30. In the finals, Niwot was docked for two deductions to score 63.25, which was good for fourth place, behind champions Erie (91.50), runner-up Lewis Palmer (84.75), and Standley Lake (66.55).
