The 2021 National Night Out event drew more than 300 people of all ages to old town Niwot on Aug. 3.
National Night Out, an annual event bringing first responders and community members together, attracted more than 300 people to downtown Niwot on Tuesday, Aug. 3. Representatives from the Mountain View Fire Department, Boulder County Sheriff's Office, and other emergency agencies were on hand with equipment demonstrations, safety advice, and even some hands-on activities. Attendees enjoyed free hot dogs, burgers, root beer and ice cream, while the Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band entertained them with an emergency-themed setlist.
