It was a beautiful morning for taking out the trash. On Sept. 18, the Niwot Community Association held its annual Clean Up Day in the parking lot of Niwot High School. Turnout was so heavy in the early morning hours that there were cars lined up waiting to enter the parking lot half an hour before the lot opened. The cars kept on coming, and it was 9 a.m. before Niwot Road was cleared of vehicles waiting to turn left into the school parking lot, according to volunteer Kathy Koehler.
