New social group forming in Niwot

Are you interested in meeting other locals over the age of 50 in Niwot? Would you like to learn about area activities and clubs? Maybe try a new event or hobby? We’ve heard that this type of group is missing in Niwot and are working to get one organized for just this purpose. Our goal is to create a forum for engaging individuals over 50 in the Niwot area, and building a sense of community and promoting opportunities for connection and learning. Both Longmont and Boulder have senior centers and services, and we hope to provide an option for connection here in Niwot. Meeting activities will include guest speakers, sharing of hobbies and interests, learning about resources and businesses in the area and small group activities; of course there will be time for mingling and snacks will be available. Our first meeting in November will be to define what we want these meetings to look like going forward. We welcome anyone who is interested.
