What season is it?

Just as it should be beginning to look a lot like Christmas, a weather phenomenon more commonly seen in the summer months made an appearance over Niwot. On Dec. 15, a double-rainbow appeared west of town as a fast-approaching snow squall came over the mountains, bringing cold air, gusty winds, and a very brief spate of precipitation.
