Local grocery workers vote to strike

Alleging unfair labor practices and violations of a collective bargaining agreement, members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 voted to strike at King Soopers locations along Colorado's front range, including the Gunbarrel location at 6550 Lookout Rd. Starting at 5 a.m. on Jan. 12., meat workers at Boulder stores will walk off the job for three weeks, until Feb. 2.
