All Local, All The Time
The Niwot High School Student Council, led by students Jamie Williamson and Sadie Warren, with the assistance of faculty advisor Leah Messinger, is hosting the Niwot Community Fall Fest. It will take place on Friday, Oct. 21, from 4-6 p.m. at the Niwot High School front parking lot. This event will be open to the public and there will be plenty of fun activities for elementary school-aged kids.
Many NHS clubs and sports teams will be setting up tables with their own activities such as pumpkin painting, face painting, spikeball, cornhole, and other games. There will also be a “Trunk or Treat” where community members will park their cars and give away candy from their decorated trunks.
If your stomach is rumbling for some real food during the event, food trucks will be serving tacos, churros, and possibly shaved ice.
There will also be an escape room designed exclusively for NHS students. It was created and sponsored by Atlas Escape Rooms in Longmont. The escape room will contain a series of locked boxes and puzzles to solve along the way.
Drop by Niwot High if you’re looking for a fun family Friday!
