NUMC to host Trunk or Treat

The Niwot United Methodist Church in Gunbarrel is hosting its second annual Trunk or Treat event open to the community on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the church parking lot.

"Last year was a big success," Pastor Emily Kintzel said. "Everybody loved visiting the spookily decorated trunks and getting treats. The church enjoys welcoming the community to this fun event." Janet Gates of Niwot, one of the organizers, said, "Bring your kiddos for fun and treats."

The Halloween-themed event will feature decorated vehicle trunks, with treats inside. Children (and adults) are encouraged to come in costume. The church is located at 7405 Lookout Road.
