Niwot UM Church trunk or treat

Niwot United Methodist Church's Trunk or Treat "was a big success with 80 kids plus parents," according to organizer Janet Gates. "So many characters were represented - super heroes, witches, Minion's, Harry Potter, Toy Story, Beetlejuice and many more. It was a beautiful fall day and fun was had by all."

The church parking lot featured 10 decorated trunks on Sunday, Oct. 30. Families collected treats and had fun playing cornhole and Giant Jenga.

Upcoming community events at NUMC include an Advent Fest on Dec. 3 from 1-4 p.m with cookie decorating and holiday crafts, a Christmas Cantata presented by the NUMC choir on Dec. 18 at 10:20 a.m., a Blue Christmas service on Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. for healing and hope, and a Christmas Eve Service at 5 p.m. with a brass quintet and other special music.
