An Ode To Niwot Holiday Windows

Windows were decorated with glitter and flare,

In hopes that Niwotians would cast a vote there.

Snowflakes, soldiers, gingerbread houses galore,

Each window decked out for all to adore.

But one stood out from all the rest.

Voted this year's winner, it was simply the best.

This display showed Santa working hard in his shop,

Just around the corner from Whistle Stop.

Porchfront Homes has been crowned first place-

Hooray! Your décor was quite the showcase.

Second place was a tricky one indeed,

As the townspeople's votes were tied up with no lead.

A four way tie for second, could it be so?

A trophy for each we shall bestow!

Wandering Jellyfish dangled snowflakes cut from books.

They twinkled in the windows, showing off their good looks.

Fluffy snow in the windows at Fly Away Homes,

Awarded them votes with moose and cute gnomes.

Wise Buys Antiques hung delicate ornaments with care,

And an antique Santa Claus greeted everyone entering there.

Few of a Kind handcrafted giant gingerbread houses,

With icing, marshmallows, and candy cane arches.

Tis the season to sparkle, as these windows displayed.

The shops were vibrant and jolly with storeowner's aid.

This little town is special in so many ways,

There's no place like Niwot during the holidays!
