Mary Jane Begalle

Mary Jane Begalle (88) of Longmont died January 1, 2023. Mary Jane and her husband Don were residents of Niwot for many years while raising their children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont at 10 am on Friday, January 27, 2023, with a reception immediately following.

Suzan Waits

Suzan Waits of Longmont died December 31, 2022, in Longmont. Suzan and her husband Roland were residents of Oriole Estates, west of Niwot for many years while raising their children. They moved to Longmont in 1996. Information on services was not available at press time.

Charles “Butch” Carlson

Charles “Butch” Carlson of Gunbarrel passed away on Jan. 2, 2023 at the age of 69. Butch was a longtime youth sports coach for Gunbarrel Lefthand Valley Recreation Association (GLVRA), now known as Niwot Youth Sports. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14 at Grace Commons Church in Boulder at 2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at the Boulder Country Club at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to First Tee - Colorado Rocky Mountains, Reel Recovery or the Glenn Garcelon Foundation.
