All Local, All The Time
Authors Martha Freeman and Claudia Mills will be at The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop in Niwot Saturday, Jan. 21 from 5 to 6 p.m. to celebrate the release of Freeman’s new middle-grade mystery novel, “Trashed!”
According to a press release, the novel is set in Boulder. “This mystery lacks some of the usual hallmarks of the genre–there’s no murder or mayhem, but there is a ghost and a near-perfect crime,” the children’s bookstore press release said.
“Martha Freeman is an award-nominated author who’s written 30 books for children. She graduated from Stanford University and has worked in journalism, publication and academia. Originally from California, she now lives in Oregon and lectures remotely at the University of Colorado Boulder.”
“Claudia Mills has published over 60 children’s books, several of which have been chosen or nominated for awards and distinctions. Her books have also been translated into half a dozen languages.”
