All Local, All The Time
Lucky Niwot Day celebrates St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., courtesy of the Niwot Business Association, with live music, games, Irish food and face painting for the whole family. See if you can spot the leprechaun wandering our streets.
Start the day with an Irish breakfast at the Niwot Market, treat yourself to cookies at Little Bird, Cimmini's, and Few of a Kind Vintage + Mercantile, and lemonade at The Niwot Inn. Get your face painted at Blessings Day Spa, find a green carnation at Belle Terre Floral, then head over to Inkberry Books for some Irish poetry and green tea. The town looks best from the back of a carriage, so treat yourself to a carriage ride around town.
After working up an appetite, don't miss the corned beef and cabbage and bangers and mash at the Niwot Tavern or corned beef, shepherd's pie and Guinness at La Musette outside of the Wheel House for lunch. Then maybe taste some homemade Irish cream liquor at Fly Away Home.
Check out the art demonstration at The Little Shop, the Lucky token event at The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop, and the Lucky dip at Compass Niwot Group. The kids can grab their Irish swag and wander the fairy walk at Deb Fowler Real Estate, Slifer Smith & Frampton.
When you are getting tired of all the fun, Blessings Day Spa and Cross Country Mortgage have you covered with Irish coffee in a souvenir mug to remember the fun time you had in Niwot.
