New Piano

Tim Wise of Wise Buys Antiques describes the process of creating a new planter from a piano to Sue Biehl. Wise originally planned to install a claw-foot bathtub on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Franklin Street after the original planter-piano, from the set of the movie "Eleanor," was destroyed by high winds. But based on input from many people who wanted to see another piano-planter, Wise was able to repurpose a discarded piano. "I talked to Chris Finger [former owner of Chris Finger Pianos in Niwot] and he walked me through the process," Wise said.
