Stan Nicholas

Local author Stan Nicholas read from his book, "Never Summer: A Thousand Rainbows," in Niwot April 28. Gene Hayworth and Keith Waters of Inkberry Books in Cottonwood Square hosted the event, which attracted a crowd of friends, family and others interested in hearing Nicholas' account of growing up in an Iowa town the size of Niwot in the 1950s, when he and his family became migrant farm workers in the Washington and Oregon every summer.
