Niwot Community Band performs at Rockies-Yankees game

Twenty-six members of the Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, under the direction of Debbie Benson, performed the National Anthem at the Colorado Rockies game against the New York Yankees on Friday, July 14.

Band members gathered in the parking lot before the game to warm up with "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," and "Celebration," which seemed to work as the Rockies beat the Yankees, 7-2, in the first regular season game after the All-Star Break.

The band will next perform in Dacono on July 29, and in Niwot on August 1 for National Night Out.
