House Blend Band and Niwot Gig team up for last street concert

The House Blend Band and the Niwot Gig will team up for their last concert for the season on 2nd Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. outside of The Old Oak Coffeehouse.

Michael Tomich and Patty Machen, co-owners of the coffee shop, and founding members of the band, are bringing young musicians from the Niwot Gig to perform an opening set. Martin Marks, owner of the Niwot Gig, will be on hand to assist the younger set.

The Old Oak Coffeehouse will be serving its signature spaghetti that evening and other restaurants, including the 1914 House, will be open.
