Music at The Grange
Sunday, Oct. 1, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., performer sign-ups begin at 1:15 p.m.
Back for the twelfth season, Music at The Grange will start the month off with a variety of local artists performing their own renditions of classics and originals. If you enjoy pop, soft rock, blues, country and folk, you're in for a treat as up to 11 artists perform two songs each.
Performers, bring the musical instrument of your choice (your voice, harmonica, guitar, banjo, for instance), your original piece or a cover of someone else – all are welcome. Sound equipment, mics, and a piano are on-hand. Refreshments will be provided by The Grange..

Women's Investment Group - Collective Real Estate Women
Saturday, Oct. 7, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Several successful and motivating women in the real estate industry - lenders, real estate agents, and investors - are offering an opportunity to help other women learn how to make money through real estate investments.
At the October Collective Real Estate Women (CREW) event, learn how to find a good value when looking for real estate investments by listening to a panel of experts discussing their strategies.

Community Dance Sessions with Lindy
Tuesdays, Oct. 17, 24, and 31, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Teacher-choreographer Lindy Bartruff invites all ages and levels to the Lindybdance (http://www.lindybdance.com/) Fall Celebration featuring line dance classes and social dance workshops.
From 5:00 - 5:50 p.m. participants will have fun enjoying a free jazz dance session. The specific class level and content will be matched to the attending participants. Next up will be line dancing from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.followed by a social dance workshop from 7:05 - 8:00 p.m. featuring Latin line dancing. Take one, two or all three sessions in October for $10/person or $15/couple.

Niwot Historical Society's Now & Then Lecture
The Haunted West
Wednesday, Oct. 25, 7:00 p.m.
All across the West, from the Colorado Rockies to the Sierra Nevada, from the Oregon coast to the Arizona desert, filmmaker and author Ethan Knightchilde has collected intriguing stories of those who thought they'd strike it rich in the old mining camps.
Over his travel to hundreds of ghost towns in the past decades, Knightchilde has encountered the fantastical, the harrowing, and the unfathomable. At October's Niwot Historical Society lecture, Knightchilde's tales, both real and imagined, covering stories from the somber to the supernatural, are sure to enthrall the audience.
Free to Niwot Historical Society members, $5 for general admission. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
