The finish line at Whistle Stop Park in Niwot was busy Sunday morning with runners and walkers from the Niwot Trot.
An aid station on Dry Creek Road was manned by students for the Niwot Trot Oct. 1.
Participants received a medal when they crossed the finish line at Whistle Stop Park.
The Niwot Trot returned to the streets of Niwot Oct. 1 with a 5K course winding through residential areas and looping back to the starting line, and finishing line, at Whistle Stop Park.
Hundreds of runners and walkers participated, raising money for the school’s PTAC to support salaries for paraeducators. Some students manned aid stations along the route, providing water as well as encouragement to the participants.
