All Local, All The Time

Home on the Grange

The weather may be cooling off, but community events at the Left Hand Grange are heating up. There's so much for the entire family to enjoy throughout the month. Music is front and center, dancing is highly encouraged, and nostalgic heartwarming feelings that only small town holiday festivities can evoke will be happening inside the historic building that is The Grange.

Andy Mann - album release concert

Sunday, Nov. 5, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

The Grange is proud to present an epic night of music with Andy Mann and guests. Mann, who calls Niwot home, is an award-winning National Geographic photographer, an extraordinary storyteller, and now he's officially a songwriter and musical performer. He's chosen the Left Hand Grange to be the place he and long-time friend and multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Eli West will perform music from Mann's just-released first album, titled "Full Moon Fight."

The show is described as "drawing on folk music traditions, the duo weave in a delightfully warped, salty sense of storytelling in pursuit of their ultimate goal: taking the audience on an adventure."

Opening for the evening's performance will be the soulful singer/songwriter David Berkeley. Award-winning Berkeley has nine albums and two books under his belt, and tours internationally.

Tickets are limited to the first 75 attendees and may be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/andy-mann-eli-west-full-moon-fight-album-release-show-left-hand-grang-tickets-731322062977?aff=oddtdtcreator. Children under 12 are free. Beer and wine will be served.

Music at The Grange

Sunday, Nov. 5, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m., performer sign-ups begin at 1:15 p.m.

November's Music at The Grange features a variety of talented local artists performing their own renditions of classics and originals. If you're drawn to folk, pop, soft rock, blues, and country, you're in for a treat as up to eleven artists perform two songs each.

Performers, bring the musical instrument of your choice (your voice, harmonica, guitar, banjo, for instance), your original piece or a cover of someone else - all are welcome. Sound equipment, mics, and a piano are provided. Refreshments will be hosted by The Grange.

Santa visits The Grange

Friday, Nov. 24, 6:00 - 9:00 pm. and Saturday, Nov. 25, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The end of November brings two opportunities for the little ones to meet Santa in person at the Grange. On Friday, Nov. 24, following Niwot's Enchanted Evening tree lighting event at 6 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will be meeting with children in the comfort and exquisitely decorated downstairs hall of The Grange.

The next day, Saturday, Nov. 25, Santa will be the grand marshal for Niwot's Holiday Parade at 11 a.m. When the parade ends, Santa will make his way to the warmth of the Grange to spend time with children until 1 p.m.
