All Local, All The Time
In recent months there has been an increase in traffic on Lookout Road in Gunbarrel, which has affected traffic patterns. Increased wait times have fowled traffic and apparently caused objectionable delays. Some locals have taken exception to the decrease in traffic flow and have begun voicing their objection to cars that are gobbling up intersections.
One observer suggested that these locals exhibited "bird-brained" aggression towards vehicles that had the misfortune to wait too long to move on. Their fowl behavior included warbled vocabulary and, worse, as if to feather their complaints, these ornithic objectors have been seen attacking vehicle tires.
A recent local driver in a pickup truck was shocked to see these avian objectors strutting down the sidewalk with sights on their sidewalls. Their fowl objections could be clearly heard. The truck was required to slowly pull away down the road in order to avoid roasting the pair. Certainly the pair was in a waddle. Their tail feathers were raised.
Officials from the Boulder County Transportation Department urge drivers to remain calm and to practice their patience. They encourage drivers to give these bird-brained objectors room to fly the coop without actively confronting them or endangering them.
