All Local, All The Time
Rock & Rails summer concerts continue on Thursday, June 27, with the opening act starting at 5 p.m. and the headliner lighting up the stage at 6:30 p.m.
This week, opener Jack Hadley, a blues guitarist and vocalist, will start off the night with original compositions as well as familiar blues tunes. Hadley is a well-versed and experienced musician who has spent many years refining and discovering his skills as a performer. His most recent project was released in April, entitled, "Jack Hadley - The St. Louis Sessions Volume II," featuring The St. Louis Blues All-Stars and drummer Chris Millar.
Headlining this week will be One on One, a vocal quartet that showcases Motown, classic soul, old school rhythm and blues, and dance music. One on One has become a popular fixture at Rock & Rails, featuring music from the 1950s to the 2000s, providing the audience with nostalgia, variety, and energetic music to dance to. Their repertoire includes music from artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, The Platters, and Aretha Franklin. Their beautiful blend of voices make for a captivating performance that any audience will enjoy.
The tip jar recipient for this week's concert is Niwot Community Hall, a non-profit organization which owns the home of Left Hand Grange No. 9 in Niwot. Tip jar proceeds will go toward renovations of the historic Grange Hall in Niwot.
So bring your chairs and hope for great weather in Niwot to listen to two great acts on Thursday, June 26.
