All Local, All The Time
After being closed for two years, the long-awaited reopening of Abo's Pizza in Cottonwood Square has finally come to fruition. As of Aug. 5 Abo's has been back and getting their grounding as they reintroduced their pies to the community. Aug. 5 is two years to the day since the popular Niwot pizza restaurant closed down due to a fire.
According to Jeff Riegel, owner at Abo's, "No cause was ever determined by any fire inspectors who came through." However, since reopening, the community has welcomed the restaurant back with open arms. Riegel expressed his gratitude for the community's support which made him and his team of employees "happy and proud."
Riegel said the facility and menu are the same as before and that he "tries to keep our offerings simple." He added, "We are able to offer the same high quality products that [Abo's] had before the fire.
Abo's has been reopened for about a month, but wanted to ensure they would surpass expectations before making a formal announcement of their reopening. They are now ready to go with their team and facility to welcome everyone back. We
